RECOMMENDED FOR Liquid and gaseous R134a and R12 refrigerants in automotive air conditioning and industrial systems; i.e., tractors construction trucks, mobile and stationary refrigeration units. Designed to minimize permeation of R134a refrigerant. Air conditioning refrigerant hose is manufactured in accordance with SAE J3062, while air conditioning hose assemblies must meet SAE J2064.

TUBE Black, synthetic rubber (Polychloroprene). See Hose Stock Characteristics.

REINFORCEMENT Two layers of spiral polyester.

COVER Black synthetic rubber (EPDM). See Hose Stock Characteristics.

TEMPERATURE RANGE –22°F to +257°F (–30°C to +125°C).

BARRIER Nylon liner.

COUPLING RECOMMENDATION PolarSeal® Couplings (ACA) (G45) Section P (See Crimp Data Manual 428–7365 or eCrimp) PolarSeal® (ACA) full dimension barrier hose. SAE J51, Type A2 Dimensions; SAE J51, Type D Performance; SAE J3062, Type C, Class II Performance.
